Our Aviaries
All of our flights are made with chain link with double wiring between
flights. The Macaw flight sizes are 7`h x 8`L x 52``W, the Hy’s are
housed in a flight 9`H x 8`L x 8`W, and the smaller bird flights are
6`h x 8`l x 52 w. A few are suspended but most are to the ground. Sand
is used for the flight floors for easy cleaning, as most of our birds
eat their food outside. The back area is covered with plexi-glass so
the birds can get out of the weather. All the flights have an indoor
area where the food, water and nest boxes are located. Pine shavings
are used in the inside areas. All the birds are closed in at night.
